What is submilation

Sublimation is the method of applying an image to specially coated cloth, using three main ingredients: sublimation ink, heat and pressure. Heat and pressure application bonds the sublimate dye colours into the fabric fibres on a microscopic level whilst keeping the fabrics original technical makeup. As the sublimation process actually dyes the garment, the colour is "in" the fabric and not merely on top, as is the case with traditional screen printing methods.  This process is quick which enables fast production and has the ability to print unlimited colours. Furthermore, sublimation gives a noticeably better feel to the garment and because the colour is infused in the fabrics, it is also less vulnerable to fading over time.

Why submilation

Sublimation is, without doubt the easiest, fastest and most progressive way to embellish a garment.

Sublimation process allows a remarkably greater range of design possibilities, unlimited vibrant colours and a result that guarantees the garments retain its original feel and shape. FHS sublimated garments are exceptionally durable and the comfort of our latest fabrics is assured with moisture management technology.

FHS polyester fabrics are wick treated, to draw moisture away from the skin, creating weather resistant, cool and quick drying garment. Sublimation method ensures that the breathing and moisture wicking capabilities of FHS garments are not impaired through printing.

At FHS, we’ve combined the highest quality equipment for world-class manufacturing, the most experienced and committed team in the industry and a first rate design team.
